Perform Zebra Printer Factory Reset
Need to start fresh with your Zebra printers? A factory reset is the simplest way to bring the device back to its original settings. By resetting a Zebra printer back to its original settings, you can get your device back to square one, wiping out any existing configurations and settings on the device. This is particularly useful to fix any stubborn issues in the device or prepare the printer for a fresh device set-up.
Through Hexnode UEM, you can employ the Reset remote action to remotely reset the Zebra printer back to its default settings instantly without any hassle. This document explains the steps you need to take to remotely factory reset Zebra printers through the portal.
Restart Zebra printers from the Hexnode UEM portal
Follow the steps below to perform reset action through the Hexnode portal,
- Log in to the Hexnode portal.
- Navigate to Manage > Devices and select the Zebra printer you want to factory reset.
- Go to Actions and then select Reset.
- Choose any of the following options,
- Reset device: Select this option to reset the printer to its factory settings.
- Reset network settings: Select this option to reset the existing network settings on the device.
- Click Wipe.
