Integration

Integration is a key factor in governing the growth and convenience of all business service platforms. No solution can truly grow without integrating with relevant and powerful platforms. The integrations with OEM vendors enable Hexnode to leverage the device management APIs custom to the OEMs. This enables the UEM to support the features that are otherwise available only through the OEM.

Hexnode integrates with CipherLab to provide robust app configurations custom to the CipherLab endpoints. The OEMConfig integration enables Hexnode to remotely control the capabilities as well as the functioning of the devices with the help of the agent app. For this to function, the OEM’s agent app has to be installed, and the device setup and configurations can be pushed to the device through this app. This enables the organization to enjoy superior control over the devices. You can even control the features that are custom to a specific device through this integration.

Key Benefits

  • Feature-rich environment

The UEM platform offers an ideal working environment for IT from where they can seamlessly connect with their tools by leveraging the UEMs’ potential.

  • Single pane management

Hexnode enables the IT admins to manage and monitor almost all organizational assets from a single instance on the cloud.

  • Integration with existing system to reduce the hassle for IT admins

By integrating with CipherLab, Hexnode completely eliminates the hassle of manually configuring the devices or utilizing a third-party platform to do it on their behalf. This can potentially plummet the workload of your IT staff.

  • Zero-day support

The UEM offers an interface through which the configurations for the native OEM features can be deployed to the endpoints. This also includes the zero-day support, which ensures a no-delay deployment system via which new features custom to the OEM can be set up on the devices without waiting for the UEM to release the remote configurations for the same.

Key Features

  • Device-specific customizations

The features that are custom to CipherLab devices can be managed through the OEMs own APIs. The integration enables Hexnode to access these APIs for easy management.

  • Remote management

The integration enables IT admins to remotely deploy and set up the work devices over the air. This saves a lot of time and resources as the IT admins no longer have to set up each device physically.

  • Multiple configuration support

Not all devices require the same configurations. For example, the HR team might require to make calls from the work devices. However, the quality assessment team will never have to use the contacts or call app. So, you might want to block the contacts app on all the QA devices but not on the HR devices. Hexnode allows you to create multiple configurations of the same policy and target it to suitable devices.

  • Scaled targeting options

Hexnode’s policies and managerial actions can be pushed to users, groups as well as domains in addition to devices. This makes targeting easier and faster.

  • One-for-all platform

The Hexnode UEM includes kiosk, app, content, expense and security management in addition to device management to take care of all your enterprise needs.

Availability

The OEMConfig integration is available for Android devices that are enrolled in the Android Enterprise program.

Since the requirements of all organizations are different, they may not require all the features that Hexnode provides. The extra features that you don’t want may create an overcrowding sensation. To eliminate this issue, Hexnode presents you with multiple versions of the UEM, each with more features than the previous one. With respect to feature availability, each version is priced differently. It includes Express, Pro, Enterprise, Ultimate and Ultra pricing plans. So, if the organization does not require features in the Ultra plan, they can go for Ultimate or below. The Android Enterprise and the app configuration features for the OEM are supported in the Hexnode Enterprise pricing plan and higher.
