Vibrate when good read Configure this setting to turn on vibration feedback for a good read. You can choose the duration to vibrate.
Beep when good read This setting helps you set up a beeper sound for a good read. You can either mute the beep or configure a sound from options 1 to 9.

      Data Output
Keyboard Emulation Keyboard emulation enables the reader module to handle the decoded data as typed text and outputs it to the active application on the device. There are 5 different options:
      1. None: This setting disables keyboard emulation.
      2. Input Method: This option permits the active application to receive characters and symbols obtained from the input method.
      3. KeyEvent: Choosing this option permits the active application to receive characters and symbols obtained from the key events.
      4. Copy and Paste: Choosing this option allows the active application to receive characters and symbols from the copy-paste clipboard action.
      5. Intent and KeyEvent: This option allows the active application to receive decoded data from both the decode intent and key events.
Timeout between Input Method Specify the time interval after which the input prompt send to the user times out.
Intent Action Specify the intent name that receives the decode intent.
Intent Decode Data Define the intent data name that will receive the decode intent.
Auto Enter This option helps to automatically add an ENTER character before or after the decoded data. You can choose from:
      1. Disable
      2. Decode data + Enter char
      3. Enter char + Decoded data
Auto Enter Character This option helps you choose the key code to be entered before or after the decoded data concerning the option you choose above.
Display Code Type Enabling this option prefixes the code type information with the output data.
Display Code Length Enabling this option appends the code length information to the output data.
Prefix If you prefer to have any information to be prefixed to the output data, you can specify it here. You can add as many as 20 characters as the prefix.
Suffix If you want any custom information to be added to the right of the output data, you can enter it here. A maximum of 20 characters is allowed.
Field Delimiter Configure the delimiter to separate various fields in the output barcode. The fields may include code type, decoded barcode data, and code length. You can choose any of the following field separators:
      • None
      • Comma
      • Semicolon
      • Full stop
Barcode Charset Choose the method of decoding the barcode data from the following:
      • UTF-8
      • Windows-1250, Windows Eastern European
      • Windows-1251, Windows Cyrillic
      • Windows-1252, Windows Latin-1
      • Windows-1253, Windows Greek
      • Windows-1254, Windows Turkish
      • Windows-1255, Windows Hebrew
      • Windows-1256, Windows Arabic
      • Windows-1257, Windows Baltic
      • Windows-1258, Windows Vietnamese
      • Big5 Traditional Chinese
      • Shift JIS, Japanese
      • GBK, Simplified Chinese
Clear Previous Data If you enable this, only the last scanned data entry will be displayed, clearing all the previous data.
KeyEvent Delay Time Specify the time interval between the keypress and the delay after which the key event is triggered. It can take values between 0 ms and 200 ms.

      Scanner Preferences
Decode Timeout Set the maximum time for a decoding process during a scan operation. You can select a value between 1 and 9.
Redundancy Level Choose how many successful readings must be completed before the linear barcodes can be decoded. There are four levels, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4.
Security Level Configure a security level to ensure decoding accuracy based on the quality of the printed barcodes. The higher the level, more the security.
Inter-Char Gap Size Specify the intercharacter gap size for Code 39 and Codabar. This option enables the digital scanner to adjust its decoding standard.
Scan Mode Specify the scanning behavior of the reader. There are 5 options:
      1. Level Mode: A trigger event activates the decoding process.
      2. Continuous (1D): The decoding process continues until the trigger event ends, a valid decode takes place or a decode session times out.
      3. Release Scan Mode: If this option is chosen, the user must press the scan key to project the aiming pattern. The decoding process will not begin until the user releases the key.
      4. Aim Mode: When this option is chosen, the user has to press the scan key to project the aiming pattern. Further, the user has to press the scan key once again to initiate the decoding process.
      5. Level and Aim Mode: Choosing this option requires the user to press the scan key once to project the aiming pattern. The user should press the scan key once again to decode. The aiming pattern remains after successfully decoding, and the reader is ready to decode by pressing the scan key again.
Aim Timeout Specify the time for which the aiming pattern should be projected for Aim Mode. You can choose an integer value between 1 and 30.
Decoding Illumination Choose Enable to enable LED light beam to barcode reading.
Decode Aiming Pattern Choose Enable to project a crosshair at the middle of the laser light beam to aid barcode reading.
Picklist Mode If you enable Picklist Mode, only those barcodes aligned at the crosshair of the laser light beam are decoded.
Display Mode Enable this option to enhance improved performance for reading barcodes on electronic displays and mobile phones.
Inverse Type Determine whether to enable or disable decoding inverse barcodes.
Addon Redundancy Choose the number of times of supplementary decoding of the same barcode for considering it a valid read. You can configure a number between 2 and 30.
Illumination Power Level You can set the brightness of the LED light source by configuring it here. Choose an integer value between 1 and 10.
Transmit AIM Code ID Specify whether to include the AIM Code ID in the decoded data.
