How to change the ownership of a device?

Device ownership in Hexnode is a tag used to identify whether a device belongs to an organization or an individual.

Hexnode supports two device ownership types, Personal and Corporate. You can either pre-configure the ownership type or let the user choose the ownership type during enrollment. The default ownership type of any device in Hexnode UEM is corporate except for profile owner enrolled devices.

With Hexnode you can change the ownership type even after enrollment.

Exception:

Ownership of a device enrolled in the Android Enterprise program cannot be changed after enrollment.

  1. Go to Manage > Devices.
  2. Click on the required device, this will take you to the Device Summary page.
