How to configure Honeywell devices with OEMConfig

OEMConfig is an industry-standard released by Google to manage devices enrolled in the Android Enterprise program. Honeywell UEMConnect is Honeywell’s OEMConfig application that supports various device configurations to manage Honeywell Mobility Edge devices. It includes various configuration settings such as display, network, input and output, system update, internal scanner, apps, and so forth.

To configure these settings, an enterprise must integrate with an EMM solution that offers continuous support to the OEMConfig feature. Hexnode’s flexible MDM solution makes it easier to add, distribute, and configure the Honeywell OEMConfig app to the devices.

The Honeywell OEMConfig app works only on Honeywell Mobility Edge devices running Android 7.0 and later.
