AirDrop not receiving files

Hi folks, I’ve noticed that AirDrop on our Hexnode‑managed iOS devices running version 18+ isn’t working properly. Sending files from the managed device works fine, but when trying to receive files, the device just plays the notification sound, but no prompt appears to accept the transfer. I think this started happening after we applied an Allowlist policy. Has anyone else faced this?

Can we set a default font for Office Apps via Hexnode?

Hi everyone! Our branding team has mandated that all company documents must use Helvetica Neue instead of Microsoft’s default font. We currently manage around 150 macOS devices and 200 Windows laptops using Hexnode UEM. Is there a way to enforce a default font across Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) using Hexnode? I’d really prefer…

Web Apps vs. Web Clips??

Hey all, this is a stupid question maybe, but what’s the actual difference between pushing a "Web App" vs a "Web Clip" in Hexnode? I just want a shortcut to our HR portal on everyone's home screen.  I tried a Web Clip on my test iPhone and it just opens Safari with the URL bar and everything. Is there a way…

Struggling to control data across devices. How did you structure your setup?

We’ve been trying to get more control over how company data is handled on devices, but it’s getting messy. We started by blocking a few obvious apps, then pushed some approved ones, but honestly it still feels inconsistent. Some users are sticking to the setup, others are finding ways around it, especially when it comes to saving or…

Deploying app updates

We’re trying to get better at how we deploy app updates across devices. Right now it’s basically “deploy to everyone and hope for the best,” which… hasn’t always gone well. Came across phased rollout strategies, how are you guys actually using this in practice?

Update option in HexNode UEM App Catalog software

The UEM application App Catalog is aware of the software being installed, and is aware of the current version of software. It would be nice if there was a button that could be clicked in the App Catalog that would allow you to update the software. I spoke with support today and their recommendation was…

Feature request: Enable custom scripts auto-trigger for the new group members.

We're currently trying to create a proper Windows PC onboarding mechanics. During this phase we need to have several applications installed depending on a group membership. Because of the Hexnode limitations we aren't able to properly configure auto-deployment for some applications. Those ones can be installed via ps1 script for sure, but we need to…

IOS Auto App Updates

We would like the feature to allow IOS apps to auto update. The current methods do not work reliably or scale well. We have tried relying on the devices to have the apps auto update and it does not work. Making an app mandatory does work but it is not feasible to scale. We would…

IOS Auto App Updates

We need an auto update feature for non mandatory applications or a way for users to update applications from the app catalog? This is a major pain point from our previous mdm. We can not feasibly make all the different apps mandatory for all the different users needs. We would end up with hundreds of…
