Hello I have been trying to initiate a remote session on a user’s Windows device, but it is getting stuck in the “Connecting to device...” state. I have followed the exact steps in this help document: https://www.hexnode.com/mobile-device-management/help/how-to-enable-remote-view-for-windows-10-devices/ I can assure that the user has agreed to the required permissions in the Remote assist app. Am…
Hey guys I am looking for a way to somehow bypass the login screen on Windows devices. I know Microsoft does not provide this option as it is not an ideal flow. So, is there a way to achieve this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hey there, I ran into an issue while wiping a Windows device joined with Microsoft Entra ID from the Microsoft Entra admin portal. The wipe action didn't complete successfully for some reason, and now I am stuck at the login screen. It shows a login user with the same name as the user in the…
Hey! I need to rename some domain-joined Windows laptops. These laptops have corresponding computer accounts in Active Directory and are organized into specific Organizational Units (OUs) based on office locations. Additionally, some laptops are connected to the domain through VPN linked with the existing names. Is there a way to rename my devices without causing…

At present, Hexnode does not offer the option to set a predefined configuration for .exe apps. Deploying common apps daily can be a cumbersome process using Hexnode. It would be helpful if Hexnode could enable a predefined configuration feature for .exe apps.</div>
Hi, Hexnode does not support uploading a new version of the enterprise app to update it for Windows devices. So What is the best way to update an enterprise app? What I do currently is 1. upload the app as a new app 2. push it to the machine via policy 3. Once the updated…
When will this be available?
What I'd like is if the user has not restarted their Windows computer in last 2 weeks, they should start getting notifications a day before that their computer will restart on X date at Y time. And if they still don't restart, they should receive a notification 10 minutes before that it will be restarted…
We're currently trying to create a proper Windows PC onboarding mechanics. During this phase we need to have several applications installed depending on a group membership. Because of the Hexnode limitations we aren't able to properly configure auto-deployment for some applications. Those ones can be installed via ps1 script for sure, but we need to…
My company requires Office Macros are disabled. For Winodws and MacOS, this is not a built in setting in Hexnode policies. I cannot find any Powershell scripts or batch files to run and enable this setting. Can this be built in?
Please make it so that you can edit each added application in the Kiosk Lockdown Section. It is very difficult to check for errors, all you can do is delete and add back, also hard to tell whats what, and what you have and dont have. All you can do is Add and Delete, this…

I think it would be a killer feature for managing Windows systems if you could add Group Policy Objects functionality to Hexnode MDM. It will require major work in the Windows Agent but I think this could really set you apart from the competition. Suggestion on how to implement it: Give the Hexnode admin the…
I would very much have the ability to set registry keys in Windows. It would also be nice if you could read a defined set of registry keys and combine it with a reporting functionality to make a device out of compliance if the keys differ from expected.
The system is missing support for showing the computer name, hostname, and IP address. We would like it added to the “Device Info” tab. It would also be nice if we could revert a friendly name back to the actual computer name.So that it once again follows the user's changes to the name.
