How to track missing iPhones when "Recent Location" is not showing data?

Hey everyone, I’m in a bit of a panic. Two of our company iPhones have gone missing since our team event yesterday. I’ve logged into the dashboard to try and track them, but the "Recent Location" widget is just blank.  Does anyone know why the data wouldn't be showing up? I need to find these ASAP before the batteries die.

Web Apps vs. Web Clips??

Hey all, this is a stupid question maybe, but what’s the actual difference between pushing a "Web App" vs a "Web Clip" in Hexnode? I just want a shortcut to our HR portal on everyone's home screen.  I tried a Web Clip on my test iPhone and it just opens Safari with the URL bar and everything. Is there a way…

Is there a way to block data sharing between work and personal apps in Hexnode?

Hi everyone, we’re planning to manage iOS devices in our organization, and one of the key things we need is to keep work apps and company data completely separate from personal apps on the same device.  We want to avoid situations where users can move data from work apps into personal apps. Is this something we can achieve with Hexnode?

How can I recover an iPad in kiosk mode when Wi‑Fi fails?

Hi team, I have an iPad that’s in kiosk mode, and sometimes it loses connection to Wi‑Fi. I’ve rebooted it many times and sometimes it reconnects, but most times it does not. I usually end up wiping the device and reloading it. Is there something else I can do to recover and take it out of kiosk mode?

How do I force app updates on iPads using Hexnode?

We have several iPads running iPadOS 16.3, and I’ve noticed some of our critical business apps are falling behind on versions. Is there a way to force these apps to update immediately through Hexnode so our fleet stays uniform?

Anyone enforcing Face ID for Outlook on iPhones using Hexnode?

Hi everyone,  We’ve been tightening access to corporate email on our iOS devices, especially for users handling sensitive data.  Right now, once the device is unlocked, Outlook opens without any additional checks. We’re trying to see if there’s a way to require Face ID before users can access their mailbox.  Has anyone set this up using Hexnode?

iOS Business Container - System Apps

A great feature would be to have an option in iOS Business Container to allow copy/paste to System Apps fron managed apps. Appreciate we can deploy a different browser and restrict system apps, but the system apps tend to be used quite heavily.

Policies

I think it would be extremely useful if in the criterias of Policies you could add the "Type" identifier in Hardware Info. Like this I could seperate iPhones from iPads

Select Devices within Group

I have a lot of iPads, and need to group them according to the location they are deployed. Management within the group selection is limited, and cannot select individual devices within the group. More management abilities should be available from the group instead of limiting them all to the general screen which is a mess.

Install application specific file

We use FileMaker Go on our iOS devices to access our hosted database.  In order to simplify granting users access to our hosted database and avoid having to manually enter the URL for the host on in the application on each device, we can install a file in the FileMaker Go's "Documents" folder on the iOS…
