Cloned machines are being treated as the same device! Any solutions?

Hey everyone, we're trying to deploy a master Windows image to multiple Dell laptops. The issue is that after cloning, Hexnode treats all the laptops as the same device instead of creating a new device ID for each one. How can we make Hexnode assign a unique ID to every laptop?

Can’t seem to block the Perplexity Comet app on Windows devices

Hey folks, I’ve been trying to block the Perplexity Comet app through Hexnode using the usual method to add the app under the blocklist with its publisher name and all. But the app still launches without any issues. I’ve double-checked the spelling and package details, and everything seems fine. Has anyone else run into this?

Disenrolled the device but some settings are still stuck

I’m running into something odd and hoping someone here has seen this before. I just disenrolled a Windows device, and everything seemed to complete fine. But when I try running the setup package again, it refuses and says the device is already associated. Any idea what might be hanging around?

Media management policy error in Windows

I’ve been trying to associate a policy for media management to secure my Windows devices. I needed to restrict the use of external media such as USBs and CDs, so I disabled the Allow use of all external media option in the media management policy. The policy applied successfully on most devices, but on a few, it failed. Has anyone else come across this?

Wipe action failing on Windows devices

Hey, I tried performing a Wipe action from Hexnode on one of our Windows devices, but it shows as “Not accepted by the device” in the Action History. I double-checked the policies, and there doesn’t seem to be any restriction/policy that could prevent the action. Any idea what might be causing this?
