macOS Updates not being deployed

Hey people, I’m trying to force install updates on some Macs. I’d used a policy for this with the update settings set to Download and Install and manually triggered the updates. But the devices remained on the current version, which is weird as in the Action history as I see the action status as Initiated. Anyone got any thoughts on how to fix this issue?

iPad isn’t installing iOS updates, what am I missing? Solved

Hey folks, One of our users keeps reporting that their iPad refuses to install iOS updates even though Hexnode shows that an update is available. The device just sits there doing nothing. Wi-Fi is fine; the command was sent but still has no progress. Has anyone bumped into this before?

macOS updates deferred on devices and not showing as installable in Hexnode

I have mac devices that are showing Tahoe 26 has been downloaded and is "installable" in Hexnode. They are currently running Sequoia 15.5 and I need to get them to 15.7.1. 15.7.1 is not showing on some devices only Tahoe 16. How do I push 15.7.1 to these devices so they will update from 15.5…

Deferring major OS updates but allowing other security updates

I’ve been wanting to defer the latest macOS update for macOS 26 Tahoe for the Macs in my organization. But on the other hand, I do not want any security updates or other minor updates to be deferred in the process of delaying the OS update for the systems.
