We are always looking ahead, and today we want to share something huge that is brewing in our development kitchen. Down the road, Hexnode UEM is planning to introduce an On Premises deployment model! While our engineering team is still carefully crafting this experience for a future release, we wanted to give you an early look…
We have been looking closely at one of the most routine, but time-consuming parts of managing Apple devices at scale: wiping and getting them ready for the next user. It’s a simple process on paper, but in reality, the work doesn’t end with the wipe. Devices still need to be set up again, connected, and…
Hey everyone, I’m trying to wrap my head around TCC and PPPC on macOS. I know Apple uses TCC to control app permissions (camera, mic, disk access, etc.), but how exactly does PPPC fit in when we’re managing devices with Hexnode or Jamf? Can someone explain it like I’m new to this?
Hey folks, I’ve got a zebra scanner running Android 14. I set an app as required with the policy, but it’s just not showing up on the device. Interesting thing is, the same app works fine on our other devices. Any idea what’s going on?

The biggest issue is that one user's device in particular was rendered completely unusable. Screen flickering, apps crashing, and inability to control…
Hi, I need some help with Linux enrollment. We’ve got around 5 Ubuntu machines that need to be enrolled into Hexnode. Could someone guide us on the best approach?
Hey folks, I’m running into something odd. I can’t connect to Wi-Fi on an Android device enrolled in Hexnode. Whenever I try, I get this message: “Security policy prevents changing settings.”. I checked my policy and Wi-Fi is allowed. Does anyone have a fix for this?
I’m working with TCC/PCCC permissions in UEM. Why would I need a Script Library instead of just relying on Policies? Shouldn’t Policies be enough?
Lately I’ve been feeling like traditional UEM is starting to hit a ceiling. We can automate policies, push scripts, schedule actions-but it still feels very “human-driven.” With fleets growing bigger (we’re heading toward ~200k devices), I’m wondering… is the future just more automation, or something fundamentally different?
