We’re finally starting our SOC 2 journey. For those who don't know, it's basically a "trust audit" to prove we aren't being reckless with customer data. The problem? I’m getting quotes that are all over the place. One guy sounded like he was reading from a script, and another firm was so "corporate" I felt like I was being interviewed for a loan. How…
Hey all, is there a grace time after which the passcode expires, and will show non-compliant in the Hexnode portal? Like, what will happen after this specific time is over exactly, and is it possible to change the action that occurs once this time is up?
This might sound odd, but every time WannaCry comes up, I feel more relief than pride. At the time it was chaos everywhere. News, alerts, group chats lighting up. For us though? The office was shut for the weekend. Machines were off. That’s honestly the whole story. When we powered things back on, the kill switch had…
Why does pushing a script via Policy works different than pushing it manually. can we have the option via policy to store the result in a custom Attribute This one below is pushing a script to find the SSID via Policy, but no option to store to Attribute This one below has the option to…
1.- How do i create a Dynamic group that displays all newly enrolled macs as of today. ( not a report, since i cant use that for a policy) The idea is, to deploy a feature to newly enrolled devices 1 time via policy. Since i cant modify th epolicy to say run 1 time…
Hi all, I am seeing a compliance warning on my devices. It is related to the “Default Android Compliance policy”, but I never added that. The only thing I have configured is a geo‑fencing policy, and the devices are inside the office range. Why are they showing as non‑compliant?
I keep hearing the term continuous posture management in security discussions, but I’m not fully getting it. We already have baseline security policies and periodic checks. Isn’t that enough? Why does this need to be “continuous”?
I was reading an article about how some people own thousands of "typo" domains. It’s not just random hackers; it feels like a whole industry. Is this just about stealing passwords, or is there a bigger play here? It feels like they’re just waiting for us to mess up one keystroke.
Hey Hexnode Community, I've got an enrolled device flagged as Non-Compliant, and I think the issue seems to be with one of the Required Apps policy I pushed out. The app is definitely installed on the device, so I'm confused about why the compliance check is failing. Does anyone know why this might be happening and what I can do to clear this compliance status?
As an admin user, I'd like the ability to control Windows firewall settings by policy instead of through scripts so that we can automate and standardize our firewall settings.
i think if you could add a fix compliance option that would be awesome, for example an action option to "install missing profiles" to all selected devices. "install all missing apps"
