I have an Android Enterprise tablet that is suddenly being flagged as non-compliant in the console for having blacklisted apps installed. But when I checked the tablet manually and none of those blacklisted apps are actually on the device. So why its showing like this and how can I make it compliant?

Usually, it’s just a reporting lag between the tablet and the Hexnode portal. The app might be removed but its yet to be updated in the portal, so try waiting for sometime.

You can try manually pushing the Scan device remote action from the portal and verify its status in action history. This will force the portal to show the updated data.

Cool! the remote action trick worked. But still wondering why this is happening.

I guess temporary noncompliance flags like that are almost always caused by minor network drops or sync delays. The server is basically relying on older data until you manually force a fresh handshake with a scan.
