Hey, I’m thinking of the ways in which an administrator can be alerted based on device conditions? For example, what kind of conditions could trigger an alert, and how would that be set up?
Can administrators be alerted based on device conditions?Solved

Are you referring to enrollment-related events, or more to compliance issues?
Honestly, both! Anything that could be marked as an issue.
For compliance-related stuff, there’s actually a section in the policy tab called Compliance Policies. Worth checking that out.
Hey there @boris, welcome to Hexnode Connect!
You can absolutely set up alerts to notify administrators when devices become non-compliant, or even send emails for various device events.
For compliance, Hexnode can mark a device as non-compliant under several conditions, like:
- MDM app/profile is removed from device
- Device becomes inactive
- Device is not encrypted
- Device is not password compliant
- Device is not application compliant
- Device moves out of geofence
- Device is jail-broken
- Device is not CIS-compliant
The available compliance options depend on the platform in use. You can set up compliance policies under Policies > Compliance Policies.
Additionally, under the Admin > Notifications tab, you can configure notifications to alert administrators for a variety of events, including when a device is enrolled, disenrolled, exits kiosk mode, when the device’s battery level drops, or when lost mode is activated, to name a few. These notifications help keep administrators informed about key device activities in real-time.
You can refer to our help documentation on compliance policies and setting up notification alerts via emails.

That’s super helpful, thanks! I just have another question, what if a device starts using an unusually high amount of data? Can that be flagged?
