We’ve used SureLock by 42Gears before. I guess it’s pretty solid for locking devices down into kiosk mode, and it supports password protection and remote management. The UI feels a bit old‑school, but it gets the job done for restricting access.

I’d say AirDroid Business is worth checking out. It’s lightweight, good for signage, and has remote control features. The remote troubleshooting is handy if you’ve got kiosks spread across multiple locations.

Okay, how about MDMs like Scalefusion and Hexnode? Do they work well for kiosks too?

I’m not too familiar with Scalefusion’s kiosk features, but Hexnode does give more options for retail signage, especially with things like remote troubleshooting.

Hello everyone, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

As mentioned, Hexnode UEM is indeed a strong option for Android kiosk management. It allows you to lock devices into single‑app or multi‑app kiosk mode, configure branding for retail signage, and remotely troubleshoot devices. These features make it well suited for retail environments where both security and presentation are important.

When evaluating kiosk solutions, it is best to consider the specific requirements of your environment, such as signage customization, remote support, or app restrictions, and then decide which tool aligns most closely with your use case.

Simon Scott
