I’ve been working on a project where I need to push certain configurations across a fleet of Android devices. On our Windows laptops, I’ve always relied on custom scripts to automate repetitive tasks, and on Macs it’s been a lifesaver too. But now that I’m shifting focus to Android, I’m wondering, do we have scripts in Android devices as well?

I don’t think so. As far as I know, that’s just available for Mac and Windows.

Hexnode has expanded its custom script execution capabilities to include Android devices.
With this update, you can now seamlessly deploy scripts on Android devices using the remote action functionality.
Before deploying custom scripts on Android devices with Hexnode, you need the latest Hexnode UEM/Hexnode for Work installed and ensure your scripts are in the right format (.sh for Android shell scripts, .txt for Hexnode custom scripts). Then, from the Hexnode UEM portal, go to Manage → select device(s) → Actions → Deployments → Execute Custom Script, choose the script type, pick the source (global repository, local repository, or upload a new file), give the script a name, and click Execute to run it.
