Hey everyone! I need some quick help. One of my Samsung devices went into lost mode with a return message set up. I deactivated Lost Mode from the portal, but the device still seems to be stuck in it. Any ideas on what I can try?

Hi @mike_johnson ! Lost mode will only turn off if the device is online and actively communicating with the Hexnode portal. Could you please double-check that the device has a stable internet connection?

Yep, I’ve already checked that. The internet is working fine, but the lost mode is still active on the device.

Thanks for confirming. In that case, you can try exiting lost mode manually using the Global Exit Passcode.

Head over to Admin > General Settings > Global Exit Settings in the portal, retrieve the passcode, and then tap it 10–12 times on the device’s lost mode screen to exit remotely.

Also, note that lost mode can activate automatically if Auto Lockdown is enabled. You can check this under Admin > General Settings > Android Lost Mode Settings, where lost mode may be configured to trigger after a set number of inactive days.

That helps, thanks, @isabel_lora ! One more thing—I’m running into issues saving changes related to location history in the portal. Any suggestions?

Sure! From the same Admin > General Settings section, try resetting the Map Settings to “Default map”, save the changes, and then reconfigure your preferred location tracking and location history options again. That usually clears up this issue.
