Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to restrict access to the iTunes Store on iOS devices. We don’t want employees downloading apps outside of what’s approved. Does Hexnode have a way to block this?

I’ve been wondering the same thing @eliiza . We’ve got a mix of older and newer iPhones, and I’m not sure if the restriction works across all versions.

Great question, @eliiza and thanks @jennifer ! Here’s how you can manage iTunes Store access via Hexnode UEM:
- Navigate to Policies → iOS → Basic Restrictions → Application Settings in the Hexnode portal.
- Locate the iTunes Store option.
If the option is checked, then access is allowed. Else, the access is restricted. The above setting applies to iOS 4.0+ devices, and on supervised devices running iOS 13.0+.
Regards,
Clara Sterling,
Hexnode UEM.
