Thanks for your valuable input everyone, it’s great to see the community sharing their experiences and tips. Building on that, let me clarify the process.
To confirm, if your goal is to remove Hexnode management from those Windows devices, you’ll need to disenroll them via the Hexnode portal. Disenrolling will remove all configurations, restrictions, and apps that were deployed, and it will also delete the device from the console.
-
Log into the Hexnode portal.
-
Navigate to Manage > Devices.
-
Select the device you want to remove.
-
Choose the option to Disenroll remotely.
Additionally, to release the license, you can go to Reports > Disenrollment Pending Devices and confirm the action there. To ensure the license is freed up, the Mark as Disenrolled option should also be clicked.
This way, the devices are cleanly removed from management, and your licenses are freed up for reuse. Please let me know if you run into any issues during the process, I’ll be happy to assist further.
