Hey everyone, I’m running into a sync issue. Our iOS devices have been disconnected from Hexnode since Feb 3rd. I’ve already tried rebooting the devices and switching the network to a mobile hotspot, but it still won’t connect. I also tried a manual scan from the portal, but it failed. Has anyone seen this before?iOS Device Disconnected from Hexnode

@margaret Are the devices currently locked in Kiosk Mode, and what OS are you using to manage the portal?

@casper , No, it’s not in Kiosk Mode. I’m accessing the Hexnode portal from a Windows PC. I even tried reinstalling the MDM profile through the Hexnode app manually, but the connection still hasn’t been restored.

Hello @margaret The symptoms suggest a communication break at the gateway level. Please verify the status of the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) certificate under Admin tab > APNs. If it has expired, the UEM server cannot communicate with Apple devices.

@elle_reed , it seems the APNs certificate has expired. What do I do now?

@margaret , The APNs certificate can be renewed from the Admin tab by clicking on the Renew Certificate button under APNs. The original Apple ID which was used to create the certificate must also be used to renew the certificate.

Oh, the original account ID is another admin’s. Once he is in, we should be able to renew the certificate with his credentials and get the devices in sync. Thanks @elle_reed
