Google login button not showing in Web App KioskSolved

Hey everyone.

I’ve set up a Web App Kiosk using Hexnode Browser Lite and added my website to the allowlist. The site loads fine, but the Google login button doesn’t appear at all.

Later, I switched the kiosk browser to Safari. In Safari, the Google login button shows up. But when I tap it, it fails because accounts.google.com is blocked.

What could be causing this?

Hey @sophia_miller !

Hexnode Browser Lite is a WebView-based browser. Some services, especially Google authentication, don’t always work properly inside WebView environments. So the Google login button itself may not render in Hexnode Browser Lite.

To confirm this, please try using another kiosk browser that is also WebView-based, for example, any kiosk browser that uses Apple’s WKWebView. If the Google login button still doesn’t appear, it means the issue is due to WebView compatibility.

I tested with another WebView-based browser in kiosk, and the Google login button still doesn’t show. But in Safari, it always appears, but I can’t proceed because the Google page is blocked.

That confirms it’s a WebView limitation. Since Safari supports Google login properly, you should:

After adding this and syncing the device, the Google login flow should work in the Safari kiosk.
