I have setup an email policy and it doesn’t seem to be working on phone.its android.

The email can be configured only on Samsung Knox devices through a policy.
Please confirm if this is a Samsung Knox device.

I have to associate the email policy to multiple samsung phones and sync the mail accounts. So can I use wild cards for username and email?

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

Yes, you can. To set up email on Android devices using Hexnode:

  • Navigate to Policies-> Android-> Accounts-> Email and click Configure.
  • You can use wildcards %email% for the Email address and %username% for User Name.
  • Configure the remaining email settings.
  • Associate targets and save the policy.
