Hey everyone! I’m looking to block users from changing trackpad settings on our macOS devices. Is there any way to do this?

Hi @sybylla . Unfortunately, macOS doesn’t allow trackpad settings to be locked individually. This is because Apple doesn’t expose trackpad preferences as a manageable restriction through UEM.

We ran into the same requirement in our environment. Blocking System Settings worked well for shared and kiosk-style Macs, but for user-assigned devices, it may impact usability, so it’s worth considering the use case.
