Hey everyone, I’m managing Android tablets in a school where students are taking exams. I need to make sure they can’t use Incognito mode to bypass browsing restrictions during the test. Is there a way to completely disable Incognito mode in Hexnode Kiosk Browser?

Hey @verbnigge , I understand your concern, and Hexnode has a solution! Along with Website Kiosk, you can make use of the App Configurations feature. Here’s how:
- Under Policies > Android > App Management, go to App Configurations.
- Click on +Add App Configuration and select Hexnode Kiosk Browser from the list.
- Disable the Incognito mode availability option from the settings and click Done.
- Apply the policy to the targeted devices.

Thanks, @isabel_lora ! That’s sounds simple! But a quick question — if a student tries to open Incognito manually after this, will it actually be blocked, or does it just hide the option?
@finn , I tried this myself following @isabel_lora ‘s steps. The option is completely disabled. They can’t open incognito at all. It’s not just hiding the button; the feature is fully blocked.
Awesome! I just tested it on a few Android tablets, and it works flawlessly. Incognito mode is completely blocked. Finally, a reliable way to enforce browsing restrictions without having to monitor every device manually! Thank you all.
