Have two portals of Hexnode (one for IT dept. , the other for the whole organization) and we are trying to integrate AD in both the portals. But I keep getting an error telling that AD agent is already installed. Are we not allowed to integrate the same AD account into more that one portal?

Thank you for reaching out to us. You can integrate the same AD account into more than one portal, but you will have to download the agents on separate devices. You need to have two different clients and hence, two different devices to integrate the same AD account into two different portals.
