Ability to read and set windows Registry KeysSolved

I would very much have the ability to set registry keys in Windows.

It would also be nice if you could read a defined set of registry keys and combine it with a reporting functionality to make a device out of compliance if the keys differ from expected.

Hello @boris-dreyer!

First off, thank you for your valuable suggestion. We will definitely take it up with the concerned teams to examine the scope of this feature and get back to you at the earliest.

Until then, you could create customized scripts to add and edit registry keys on Windows devices and use the Execute Custom Script action to execute them.

Hi Chloe,

Thank you for mentioning the use of scripts for adding registry keys.

I already considered that, but it will need to be run regularly to ensure the devices stay compliant.

Hello @boris-dreyer!

Glad to help.

We understand that a feature to set registry keys and monitor the device’s corresponding compliance status would be much more efficient.

Our teams are discussing its possibilities and are on their way to helping your devices stay compliant based on the required grounds.
