Hey everyone! I just set up a few Android phones for the team and I’m trying to figure out how to get some apps onto them. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you looking to add regular apps from the Play Store or enterprise ones?
Just the basics for now, I need ChatGPT, Google Translate, the Calculator, and the Camera on all of them.
Hi @merlynn,
Since Camera and Calculator are system apps, they should already be on the devices.
For ChatGPT and Google Translate, you can deploy them using the Install Application remote action or the Required Apps policy.
Could you please confirm whether the device is currently locked into kiosk mode?

Not in kiosk mode, but we do have an Allowlist policy active. Right now, the team can only see our official company app.
Hello @merlynn,
You can update your current policy by adding ChatGPT and Google Translate to your Required Apps list. Once that’s done, make sure those same apps are added to the Allowlist section of the policy.

Perfect. What happens when I add new devices to the team later? Do I have to do this all over again?
Hi @merlynn,
Not at all! These devices are managed via Work Profile, which means they stay tied to your organization’s central permissions. For any new devices added to your fleet, simply associate them with this same updated policy. This will automatically trigger the silent installation and apply the allowlist rules without any manual intervention.
