Hi everyone, I noticed something odd with Hexnode. After updating TeamViewer directly on the end device, Hexnode started reporting the app as “missing.” I’m guessing it’s because the version doesn’t match the one we uploaded earlier. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any fixes?
Why does Hexnode mark an app as ‘missing’ after updating it directly on the device?Solved

Yep, that happens when the app version on the device doesn’t align with the one Hexnode has in its inventory. Hexnode basically thinks the app isn’t there anymore. I dont know how to fix it though.
Thankyou for all of your valuable input!
Hexnode reports the app as “missing” when the version on the device doesn’t match the one in its app inventory.
To resolve this, we recommend uploading the updated TeamViewer application version into Hexnode’s app inventory and pushing it with the Required apps policy. This ensures Hexnode recognizes the latest version and prevents the app from being flagged as missing in the console.

This is really about workflow discipline. If you’re updating apps outside Hexnode, you’ll always run into mismatches.
