We are excited to introduce a powerful enhancement that gives IT admins significantly more control and precision when deploying applications on macOS devices. You can now deploy applications directly to a specific user account, eliminating the need for system-wide installations or complex workarounds.
This ensures the right apps reach the right users, exactly when and where they are needed.
What’s New?
- “Install Application” action: A dedicated Install Application action has been added within the Local Accounts tab on the Device Details page, enabling immediate, specific application deployment for the required user account.
- Streamlined application picker: Selecting the new action opens a pop-up window for searching and selecting one or multiple applications to install simultaneously.
- Transparent status tracking: The deployment status, Pending, In Progress, or Success/Failed is visible directly from the device’s action history.
