Hey @annemie,
Thanks for reaching out to Hexnode Connect! I totally get your confusion, you’re right, the Remote Actions section looks a little different now.
The options to Enable Kiosk Mode and Disable Kiosk Mode are still very much there and continue to be supported for devices running Android 5.0 and above. What’s changed is how they’re organized in the new UI.
We recently restructured the Remote Actions interface to make it more streamlined and easier to navigate. Actions are now grouped into categories based on their function; this helps admins quickly locate what they need without scrolling through an endless list.
All the Kiosk-related actions, including enabling and disabling Kiosk Mode, can now be found under the “Kiosk” category. And to make it even simpler, there’s now a search bar at the top, just type “Kiosk,” and you’ll instantly see all the related actions you can perform.
Coming to your second question.
The “Lock Device” action (which now appears under the Security section) lets you remotely lock enrolled devices. This can be super helpful in case a device goes missing or is stolen. For Android or iOS, admins can even display a custom lock screen message with a contact number, so anyone who finds the device can easily reach out to return it.
I hope your queries are resolved. If you have any more questions or need a walkthrough of the new layout, feel free to drop a message here; we’re always happy to help!
Best regards,
George
