Hey everyone, so, the problem is that the Single app kiosk I have set up in my TCL TV is acting up. Once you restart the device, the kiosk is gone and I have to click on the Hexnode app manually to activate the single app kiosk. Isn’t it supposed to stay in Kiosk mode up until I manually exit?

@mees , the TCL System application named Safety Guard prevents all apps from accessing the boot logs of the system. This means that Hexnode does not have access to know whether the restart has been completed, to auto launch Kiosk mode.
To allow Hexnode to “listen to” boot completion, go the Safety Guard app, navigate to Permission Shield –> Auto Launch Permission –> Hexnode UEM and change the permission from Closed to Open. This will immediately open the device to the Kiosk mode, as soon as the device reboots.

@elle_reed , I did try it, the Kiosk is auto launching, yes, but other apps are also opening other than the Kiosk one.
@mees , In that case, please try disabling the Safety Guard app’s usage access permission by following the below steps:
Go to the Settings menu (gear icon) on your TCL TV and select apps. Navigate to the Special app access section and select Usage Access. From the displayed list, find Safety Guard or Permission Shield and toggle the setting to Off or Don’t allow.
