Hi, when creating a technician, I noticed that setting a scope is now mandatory. Previously, this wasn’t the case, and I don’t recall any recent changes. Is there a way to create a technician with access to the entire Hexnode UEM portal without defining a scope?
How to assign technicians without setting a scopeSolved

Hi,
If you assign a built-in technician role, scope won’t be required. However, when assigning a custom technician role, scopes must be added. This is the expected behavior when assigning custom technician roles.
Got it. If I assign a custom role and want the technician to access all devices in the portal, as well as manage (create/modify) dynamic groups, is that possible?
Yes. If you add a dynamic device group such as the “All Enrolled Devices” group to the technician’s scope, they will have access to all enrolled devices. For managing dynamic groups, you can enable the option in the Roles section: Allow technicians to create/edit dynamic groups.
I hope this clarifies your query. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
