Hi team, I have an iPad that’s in kiosk mode, and sometimes it loses connection to Wi‑Fi. I’ve rebooted it many times and sometimes it reconnects, but most times it does not. I usually end up wiping the device and reloading it. Is there something else I can do to recover and take it out of kiosk mode?

Yeah, if the iPad isn’t online, Hexnode can’t really do anything with it; it’s just stuck until you get it back on the network.

One trick you can try is giving the iPad a wired connection. Grab a Lightning‑to‑Ethernet adapter (sometimes sold as Lightning‑to‑USB with an Ethernet dongle). Plug it into the iPad. If you need to, add a powered USB hub and then connect to the Ethernet adapter.

Finally, hook up the Ethernet cable from your router or switch. The iPad should pick up the connection automatically.

Ah, that makes sense. Didn’t realize I could use Ethernet with the iPad. I’ll give that a shotHopefully this saves me from having to wipe and reload every time.
