I’ve set up kiosk mode on our Android devices, and I noticed that the floating icon still shows Wi-Fi settings. I’d like to remove that option so users can’t toggle Wi-Fi or switch networks from there. Is there a way to hide it through policy?

Yeah, I ran into that too. The floating icon is handy, but sometimes it gives users too much freedom. I remember tweaking something in the peripheral settings to lock it down.
Same here. We had users switching Wi-Fi networks and messing up connectivity. Once I unchecked a couple of options in the kiosk lockdown settings, it stopped showing up.

Navigate to Kiosk Lockdown > Android Kiosk Lockdown in the Hexnode portal.
Go to Peripheral Settings > Network.
Locate the options Users can turn Wi-Fi on/off and Connect to and switch between saved Wi-Fi networks.
Uncheck these options.
Once you save and apply the policy, the Wi-Fi settings will no longer appear in the floating icon on your devices.

I didn’t realize you could control the floating icon so specifically. Makes kiosk mode way tighter for shared devices.
True, but I actually leave Wi-Fi toggling on for some of our kiosks. Staff sometimes need to reconnect quickly if the router hiccups. Depends on the use case, I guess.
