A supervised iPhone enrolled in Hexnode was stolen, and Lost Mode was initiated shortly after. The device stayed offline for months, so there were no recent check-ins. Later, the portal showed that the device had checked in, and the action history had entries like “Install Hexnode UEM – Success,” “Associate Device Policy – Success,” and “Clear Activation Lock – Failed.” There were also many cancelled “Scan Device” entries.
The device page now shows Lost Mode enabled, but I’m trying to understand what actually happened. Does this mean the thief got past the passcode or factory reset the phone? If Lost Mode was pending while the device was offline, is the device now unusable once it finally connected?
