Hey, here’s the thing. We have around a dozen android devices, all enrolled in Device owner mode. While setting up the enrollment profiles, we selected ‘do not prompt’ for a couple of app permissions. Now we’ve got a new requirement that needs those permissions enabled. So, do I need to disenroll all my devices and enroll them again with the updated permissions, or is there any workaround for this?
Is there way to modify app permissions after enrollment?Solved

Don’t worry, there’s a workaround. When I was enrolling devices, I also skipped a few app permissions that I thought weren’t necessary. But later, I realized that certain policies and actions might not work properly if the required permissions aren’t granted to the hexnode Uem app.
Here’s what you can do: open the Hexnode uem app on your device, go to the settings section, tap the three dots at the top right, and select Permissions. You’ll see a list of all the app permissions there, and you can enable the ones you need.
Oh, and one more thing. Once you enable these permissions, you can’t revert them from the UEM app. I think you can still modify them from the settings app, but I’m not fully sure on that.
You’re a lifesaver! I thought I’d have to re-enroll every single device. Thanks for the heads-up too!
