Hey everyone, I was configuring web content filtering for the Windows devices in the fleet I manage. Currently, I am just testing the policy on a test machine before deploying it. There were a lot of URLs that we wanted to filter, so I used a CSV to bulk upload them. The problem is very simple: it’s not working. What should I do?

Hola, have you tried restarting? Some features require the device to be restarted before they are fully applied. I would also suggest checking if there are duplicate URLs in the csv, because I have seen scenarios where that caused the issue. These are the two things that come to mind right now, though it could be something else.
Thank you, but restarting was the first thing I did when I saw it wasn’t working. And no, the CSV I pushed doesn’t have any duplicate URLs because it was carefully configured. I am very meticulous when it comes to these things!
Hey @mees,
Thank you for reaching out, and thank you, @nevaeh, for suggesting those initial troubleshooting steps so we could rule them out.
Since those aren’t the cause, I will need a bit more information from your end, if that’s okay with you. Could you let me know the OS version of the test device you are using? This particular feature is only supported on Windows 10 and 11 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions). If the device is running a Home edition, that might be the root of the issue.

Oh man, that was exactly the case! The test device I was using was running a home edition. Thank you! I tested the same policy configuration on a different device running the Pro edition, and it worked perfectly. Thanks for helping out!
Glad to hear that resolved the issue for you! Let us know if you need help with anything else.
