Is it just for me or has web content filtering stopped working for others too? We used this feature of Hexnode to block employees from using social networking sites on company devices (ipads and samsung phones) but the users can still access these via the corresponding apps. Hope this is a temporary glitch and will be resolved soon.

Thank you for reaching out to us. The scenario you described is not a glitch but is the typical workflow of the feature web content filtering. Blacklisting a URL in web filtering blocks access to it in the browsers, but users can still access the corresponding app. To prevent this, blacklist the apps in iOS and Android.

Does it work the other way round too? As in if I blacklist facebook app, will the site of facebook be blacklisted too?

@claire blocking an app will not block the site corresponding to it.
