Hey everyone, I deployed a script to my Windows device using the remote action from Hexnode, but I can’t see the intended results on the device. Any idea what’s going on?

From what I know, Hexnode supports powershell (.ps1) and batch (.bat or .cmd) scripts for Windows. If it’s some other format, it probably won’t show up.

Yeah, I too tried with batch script but still there isn’t any changes.

Hello @annemie , thanks for reaching out.
If a script deployed to a Windows endpoint doesn’t show the intended results, check the following to confirm its status:
- Action History Tab: Go to Manage > [select your device] > Action History. Look for the “Execute Custom Script” entry and check the status — Pending, In Progress, Failed, or Success. If it shows Success, click Show Output to view the script’s execution details and verify whether it ran correctly or encountered any errors.
- Scripts Sub‑tab: On the same device summary page, open the Scripts sub‑tab. This lists the scripts associated with the device and their execution results.
- Device Status: If the device is currently offline, the script will remain in Pending until the agent syncs again.
These checks will help you verify whether the script was executed and understand its current state. Let us know once these checks are done, so we can look further into the case.
