Hey, we’ve been worried about people accidentally sharing sensitive stuff, like copying info from work apps into personal apps. Is there a way to stop that without locking down the whole device?

Oh yeah, we were also concerned about the same thing. Once we implemented  Hexnode’s DLP policies, it really gave us peace of mind. Employees couldn’t copy or share sensitive content outside of managed apps, and even screenshots were blocked — super smooth in practice.

Exactly! Hexnode UEM’s Data Loss Prevention controls work inside managed apps at the OS level. So, all the corporate data stays safe, but personal apps aren’t touched at all.

Here’s what it does:

  • Clipboard Control: Stops copy/paste from managed apps into personal apps.
  • Screen Capture: Blocks screenshots and recordings in managed apps.
  • Sharing Restrictions: No sneaky AirDrop, Bluetooth, or other unmanaged sharing for corporate files.
  • Managed Domains: Keeps work docs inside approved corporate URLs only.

Cool! But can we tweak these rules for different groups or types of content, or is it the same for everyone?

Yep, totally customizable. You can make policies for different groups or content types. In our setup, it was super flexible; we could lock down sensitive stuff without bothering the rest of the team.

Ah, got it! This makes total sense. Feels good knowing we can keep sensitive data safe without annoying everyone with crazy restrictions. Thanks for sharing your experience!
