We have several iPads running iPadOS 16.3, and I’ve noticed some of our critical business apps are falling behind on versions. Is there a way to force these apps to update immediately through Hexnode so our fleet stays uniform?

I guess there’s a way to automate it, but not sure what exactly it was. I will just look into it and let you know buddy.
Thank you for raising this question.
The most effective way to handle this is to add the specific applications to a ‘Required Apps‘ policy.
Here is how that process flows through the system:
Inventory Sync: First, the latest app updates sync from the App Store into the Hexnode App Inventory and in the case of enterprise apps, they have to be uploaded to the inventory.
Policy Linkage: Once the update is recognized in the inventory, it automatically applies to the Required Apps policy you’ve configured.
Automated Push: Because the apps are marked as ‘Required,’ the UEM server detects the version mismatch on the iPads and pushes the update command to the associated devices.
