Hi, we want to restrict internet traffic to our devices, but, since Hexnode does require an active internet connection, could you provide Hexnode’s network domains or IP addresses so that only Hexnode communication with the device happens?

Hello @mo-chou , to restrict network traffic in your devices, specific  web domains need to be allowlisted  for your devices. You can enforce this allowlisting using firewalls or DNS filtering or using the Web Content Filtering policy of Hexnode. Both device and network restrictions can be useful here. Ports other than those used by Hexnode need to be blocked from the device end.

You can find a list of all the ports and domains used by Hexnode here: Hexnode Architecture- Ports and URLs

This comprehensive list can be used to find ports that may be added to your firewall to allow Hexnode UEM’s communications, while otherwise restricting internet traffic. Please be mindful of allowlisting the essential domains and ports correctly or setting up a fallback mechanism so that the devices do not lose access to the internet entirely.
