Hi team. How can I display the date and time on my Android tablet that’s locked down in kiosk mode with Hexnode?

Hey @sloane ,
The date and time can be displayed on your locked down tablet by enabling the status bar in your kiosk policy settings. Select your policy from the Policies tab and click Manage > Modify. Then go to Kiosk Lockdown > Android Kiosk Lockdown > Peripheral Settings > Display. There you’ll find the option “Enable status bar“. Enabling this option will display the status bar on the device.

I enabled that option, like you said, but I still can’t see the date and time on my device.

Got it. In addition to the kiosk settings, configurations within the Restrictions section of the associated policy could also disable the status bar. If either the “Hide System bars” or “Hide Status bar” options under Restrictions > Advanced > Display Settings is enabled, disable it and deploy the policy again. Once those restrictions are turned off, the status bar should be visible and display the date and time.
