I was checking out the Lock device action in Hexnode. From what I see, it just locks the phone, and the user can unlock it with the same passcode they already set. I was wondering if there’s a more secure option available for situations where that isn’t enough.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same thing. It feels like just a remote screen lock to me. I haven’t come across anything stricter myself, though.
You should look into Lost mode action. That’s the one admins usually use when they need tighter control.
Hello @ace_98 , thanks for bringing this up.
Yes, Hexnode UEM does provide a more secure option beyond the standard Lock Device action. The Lock device action is designed for quick remote management. It locks the device instantaneously and can be unlocked with the current passcode. It is helpful when you want to immediately secure a device that’s left unattended.
For stronger control, you can use the Enable lost mode action. This action completely restricts access, displays a custom message and contact number, and keeps the device locked until the admin disables lost mode from the portal.
In cases where you suspect the passcode itself is compromised, you can also use the Set password action to overwrite the existing passcode before applying a lock.
