Device wipe command took 15 minutes before reenrollment in HexnodeSolved

I sent a wipe command to a managed device from Hexnode and it did not complete immediately. It stayed in progress for a while and finally finished after around 15 minutes. After that, I reenrolled the device and everything seems to be working again. Is this delay normal for a wipe action?

Hello @shirleyc ,

A device wipe action may take several minutes to complete depending on factors such as device connectivity, OS behavior, device check-in interval, and whether the device is actively communicating with Hexnode when the command is sent.

The recommended check is to open the device details page in Hexnode UEM and review the action status from the device action history. If the wipe action moves to the successful state, the wipe has been executed on the device.

After the wipe is completed, the device can be reenrolled using the appropriate enrollment method for that platform.
