Hey guys!! I have a question regarding the Block Microsoft Accounts policy. Does this setting block users from signing in and adding Microsoft accounts at the lock screen, or does it also mean that once the user logs in, they are restricted from using Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft services they may already have an account on?

From my understanding, this policy mainly prevents adding personal Microsoft accounts to the device itself. But I’m not sure if it impacts work or school accounts tied to Microsoft 365.

If Block Microsoft Accounts is set to Users cannot add or log on with Microsoft accounts,” end users will be unable to add or sign in with their personal Microsoft accounts. Devices using Entra ID accounts (recognized by Windows as work or school accounts) will not be affected. Microsoft services such as Microsoft 365 will continue to function for these work accounts. However, users will be prevented from adding personal Microsoft accounts to the device.
