We recently enabled MFA for our Hexnode portal users and want to stop the periodic password reset requirement for technician accounts. Is there a way to disable password rotation for portal logins, or does this need to be submitted as a feature request?

Yes @eleanor_a , this can be configured from the technician profile settings.
To disable password rotation for Hexnode UEM portal technician accounts:
- Go to Admin > Technicians and Roles > Profiles.
- Create a new profile, or open an existing technician profile for editing.
- Open the Password Policy section.
- Set Password Age to Never.
- Save the profile.
- Make sure the profile is assigned to the required technician accounts.
Once this is applied, technician accounts assigned to that profile should no longer receive mandatory password reset prompts due to password age.

Just to confirm, this setting only affects Hexnode portal technician logins, right? It won’t change passcode policies on enrolled devices?

Correct. The Password Age setting applies to Hexnode portal technician accounts only. It does not modify device passcode policies for iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, or other enrolled devices.
Device passcode requirements are managed separately through device policies.
