I am trying to block users from sending GIFs on our Samsung Android devices managed with Hexnode. The GIF option appears right on the default Samsung Keyboard (even inside restricted apps like Dragon: Special ED), so blocking URLs hasn’t helped.
I tried looking under Android app configurations, but the Samsung Keyboard does not show up like a normal Managed Google Play app. I even added the package manually, but it still didn’t give me any configuration options.
I was reading that I need to use the Knox service plugin (KSP) with a KPE Premium license key. We actually have that configured and the “Disable GIF Keyboard” setting checked in KSP, but it is still not applying to the devices. They are running in kiosk mode—could the kiosk policy be interfering with KSP’s ability to apply the keyboard setting?
