If the portal is managed through a Hexnode MSP setup, technicians for the child portal may need to be created and scoped from the MSP portal instead of directly from the individual child portal.
In this case, use the MSP portal to define which technicians can access which customer portal:
- Sign in to the MSP portal.
- Go to Users.
- Create a Scope Group.
- Assign the required child portal to that scope group.
- Create the technician account in the MSP portal.
- Map the technician to the scope group.
Once the technician is mapped to a scope group that includes the child portal, they should be able to access that portal with the assigned role or scope.
