Managing multi-display Mac and Windows devices just got a major upgrade. Hexnode UEM now lets you stream and view all connected monitors simultaneously on a single live canvas during Remote View sessions.

What’s new?

  1. New Policy Setting

A new option, Enable multi-monitor support, is now available in your Windows and Mac Remote Access policy. When turning this on, you can choose how displays are shared:

  • Stream all connected displays: Automatically streams a combined view of every monitor attached to the remote device.

  • Allow user to select displays to share: Lets the remote user pick which specific monitors to share with you.

  1. In Remote View & Control

When you launch Remote View on a device with the Remote Access policy applied, a new switch icon in the workspace opens a display management menu where you can:

  • Switch Screen Layouts: Reorganize screen feeds into Grid, Horizontal (side-by-side), or Vertical (stacked) views.

  • View Display Status: See which monitor feeds are currently active or hidden at a glance.

  • Navigate Smoothly: Scroll effortlessly across large or multi-tier monitor setups with responsive screen scaling.

  • Hide & Restore Feeds: Hide individual monitor feeds to keep your view focused, and bring hidden feeds back anytime using “Click to Restore” placeholders.

Say goodbye to screen blind spots during remote sessions. Log in to your Hexnode UEM portal today, enable multi-monitor support in your Remote Access policy, and enjoy complete visual clarity across every display in your fleet!
